Will the game be available in Italian / French / German / Spanish?
We’re on it! We have a team working on these various rules translations at the moment, and will keep you updated. We should be able to publish these alternate language rules as free PDFs before the end of the campaign.
We’re not yet sure whether we’ll be able to physically print the cards in these alternate languages, but we will certainly be translating each card individually and will provide these online in a searchable reference source. If things change so that we are able to print in alternate languages - we’ll let you know!

How do I order multiple copies of The Football Game?
You may order unlimited copies of The Football Game, including ‘Executive Box’ (ExB) copies!
To order, please first pledge and then add to your pledge as below:
UK & Germany = +£33 per extra copy. UK & Germany = +£47 per extra ExB copy.
Rest of World = +£35 per extra copy. Rest of World = +£49 per extra ExB copy.
That’s right, the UK and Germany pay NO EXTRA SHIPPING on multiple copies! Charging +£2 to RoW per extra copy doesn’t fully cover our additional shipping costs - this is the simplest way we can give you a discount!
So for example:

You've advertised 2 to 4 players, can I play the game solo?
When playtesting The Football Game we each played multiples of tens of solo games by managing more than one club around the table. We think the game works best with more than 1 player, but solo in the manner above was still a lot of fun!
Of course it is also possible to play a 1-club game: The Undead Viking’s how-to-play video gives a good idea of what that might look like. However just as he describes, we too think a lot of the joy of the game is in the interaction and relative performance against other players and clubs around the table. Many of the ‘Target/Attack’ type Tactics cards (18 of the deck of 96) are designed to directly target other footballers or players, so most of these would likely not be useful in a single club game.
There’s every possibility that we might devise an official solo version/variant, but we couldn’t realistically comment on the likelihood of that now :) Jo Pearson did a fair amount of experimenting with this during development, so we’d have a head-start in this at least! A few kind backers have already suggested ‘Automata’ rules for our consideration, we’ll keep you updated!

We have had this planned for a while, and have are finalising a slight redesign of the Footballer cards and dice. We’ll publish an update addressing this shortly.

Can you ship the game cheaper?
We have done everything we can to ensure that The Football Game falls into the lowest shipping bracket possible. Unfortunately for our shipping rates, The Football Game is not a small game! The core verison includes:
300x cards (143 large Tarot size!) 4x Club Mat player boards (A3) 1 x League Table board (A4) 78x Tokens 5x dice and more.
…this means that 1 x The Football Game packed weighs in at a hefty 2KG (!). To help backers out, we’re offering the game here at a £5 discount and have very favourable rates on more than one copy of The Football Game shipped anywhere.
Additional copies shipped to the UK and Germany will be shipped free of charge! Additional copies shipped worldwide - regardless of cost of shipping first time - will cost just +£2 shipping for every subsequent copy of the game! So for example, shipping to the UK:
1 x The Football Game = £33 (+6) = £39 2 x The Football Game = £33 (+6) + £33 = £72 3 x The Football Game = £33 (+6) + £33 + £33 = £105 …and so on :)

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
